Shashanka (he/him/his) is a PhD student in the Affective Science area at the Department of Psychology. His research employs techniques from AI/NLP and longitudinal methods to study the psychological well-being of individuals and populations. Before this, he worked as a Data Scientist at the Computational Psychology and Well-Being lab at Stanford HAI, where he studied mental health and well-being using language analysis. Shashanka also has a Master’s in Computer Science from USC, Los Angeles.
