In my research program, I leverage behavioral theories, ecological momentary assessment and sensor-based data to build intensive longitudinal models that can provide insights into how behavioral processes (e.g., emotions, cognitions, health behaviors) unfold in daily life. My research is also focused on methods for personalizing mobile health (mHealth) interventions. Data visualization is another important component of my work as a way to better understand complex behavioral processes, to generate new ideas, and to use as a tool for communication. Altogether, my goals are to understand how behavioral processes unfold across multiple time-scales and contexts and how mHealth behavior change interventions can be developed to adapt to the unique needs of individual people.
