Destiny K Trần (she/her/hers) is a third-year undergraduate at Stanford, majoring in Symbolic Systems with a concentration in Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence. Her research focuses on the valence and arousal of graphic visual stimuli, and the subsequent stimulation of reward-circuitry-related neurotransmitters. She aims to conclude how this association relates to screen-based inertia and regression in psychological affect.
By aligning interests in technology, neuroscience/psychology, and social justice, Destiny hopes her research will contribute toward her growing passion for building and understanding equitable, human-centered computational systems.
